Department of Primary Industries, Victoria

Formerly the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Primary Industries is responsible for the areas of agriculture, minerals, petroleum and fisheries. The Department aims to deliver high quality services and products that protect Victoria's natural and cultural resource base.

Its main involvement with the CRCV is through Agriculture Victoria - a business of the Department including the Sunraysia Horticultural Centre in Mildura, Institute for Horticultural Development in Knoxfield, Rutherglen Research Institute, Rutherglen, and the Tatura Institute of Sustainable Irrigated Agriculture, Tatura.
