Winemakers' Federation of Australia Inc

The Winemakers' Federation of Australia is the peak industry body representing the interests of the nation's small, medium and large winemakers. Its mission is to develop policies and programs to increase the nett returns to Australia's winemakers.

Formed in 1990, the Federation provides the Australian wine industry with a single voice on national issues, with its success driven by industry solidarity on policies and issues in the interests of the industry as a whole.

It consists of two Electoral Colleges - the Australian Wine and Brandy Producers' Association and the Australian Regional Winemakers' Forum and is funded by voluntary levies.

The Federation is at the forefront of industry development in preparing and implementing the industry's 30 year plan Strategy 2025, driving a major policy and issues management program and developing major projects - such as Wine Australia and the National Wine Centre.
