Researchers at The Cooperative Research Ventre for Viticulture (CRCV) have prepared some guideline information booklets about applications and the use of near infrared spectroscopy in the grape and wine industry that are available for downloading.
- Near infrared spectroscopy in the Australian grape and wine industry
- Application of spectroscopy for non-destructive 'in-bottle' measurement of wine composition and quality
The Cooperative Research Centre for Viticulture (CRCV) is working with Sydney based Integrated Spectronics to develop a portable instrument that will measure colour (total anthocyanins) as well as pH and total soluble solids in red wine grapes. For more information download the fact sheet.
